The Ship and Shovell is ideal for take-away food eating with decent
beer.
This is actually 2 pubs with one name, advertised as "The only pub in
London with two halves"
What this amounts to is 2 pubs opposite each other with an alleyway
between them.
Its a Badger pub, and the guest beer, Festive Pheasant was very good
and was 2 pounds.60/pint
Because there is this lane between the pubs, it is acceptable to drink
outside with barrels being supplied as tables, so this was a good place
to eat the previously gathered Sushi. Its also fairly sheltered from
the elements so while a little chilly due to the season, it wasn't
windy, but I can see rain being a problem.
