Cunningly placed opposite Google's London office, this latest Craft Beer Co. has excellent beer. Good enough, indeed, to put up with the rest of the pub. Even with five bar staff, service at 7.30pm on a Thursday took twenty minutes, largely because there's no way of working out what's still on or which beers you might want until you get to the front of the queue. They could really do with a live tap list, like the way the Wellington in Birmingham does it; emplying more expert bar staff wouldn't hurt either. Space is fairly limited, and like most modern trendy pubs there's wood panelling everywhere, meaning that noise is a huge problem, especially in the below-ground "lounge" where it has nowhere to escape. Toilets are minimal, tiny and down stairs (on the men's side, three urinals and one toilet, for roughly 200 customers). Prices aren't too bad, at least as long as you stick to the hand-pull beers; the keg taps on the other side are labelled with the prices for half-pints. Good selection of spirits, if you drink spirits in a pub.
