Large and usually crowded pub that fills up sharply around 6pm; get a
table before then if you can. Dim lighting, West End prices, but the
Plain porter is nearly worth it. Also tends to have a decent selection
of bottled foreign beers.
Has a nasty habit of putting on live music.
Food is available but pricey.
