Mostly, come here for the experimental aircraft. The Bristol 188,
the "other" TSR.2, the Fairey Delta 2, the prone-pilot Meteor, the
Avro 707c (1/3 scale Vulcan)... and that's just in one hangar. Then
there's the Cold War (a trio of V-bombers dominating, but a good
collection of missiles and other aircraft too, including the MiG-17
and -21)... and the Warplanes (note in particular the Me410 and
Fieseler Storch... and the "miscellaneous" hall, with transport
aircraft, missiles and aero engines.
It's almost all indoors (with some outdoor walking between hangars).
The cafe really isn't up to much, so try to bring your own food and
drink. It is entirely possible for a trio of aviation enthusiasts to
spend a day here and feel satisfied.
