Mostly known as an air show venue, but there's a good range of
interesting and unusual static aircraft too - and it's a lot emptier
when it's not a show day. The American Air Museum (aka Septic Tank) is
worth a visit for the SR-71, but don't miss the TSR-2 or the Concorde
prototype (both currently in the new "AirSpace" hall). Most of the
exhibits are from WW2 onwards. Many of the aircraft are out of doors, so
try to pick a day with good weather.
