Museum review: Imperial War Museum London

The obvious things are in the main hall - the He162 Volksjäger, the Little Boy casing, the Matilda tank, and so on. But that's not what's really impressive; all the good stuff is in the basement, which you could easily miss if you didn't know it was there. That's where you'll find the comprehensive collections from the First and Second World Wars and the times between, as well as Britain's forces since the Second World War and a special gallery on secret warfare. Utterly fascinating; expect to spend an afternoon here.
