Four or five very well-kept beers, excellent atmosphere and a beer garden
(with covered smoking area).
Best gents' toilets I have seen.
Quiz night on Tuesdays from 8.45 or so (1 pound entry, not
compulsory if you just want to drink); excellent roast lunch on Sundays
from 2-4; occasional goat curry on Friday nights (once a month or so).
Do not feed Shannon, the black labrador; he's very friendly, but
human-food is bad for him.
Annual beer festival in the summer.
