Why did I not come here years ago?
This mixed indoor/outdoor museum holds a variety of Mosquitoes, several Vampires and Venoms, and even a Comet Mk 1 (with the original windows), and a range of other de Havilland aircraft, as well as some material on the history of the company before its forced incorporation into British Aerospace.
It may seem a bit sparse by modern museum standards - there are no interactive exhibits, and lots of things in glass cases - but it's a splendid place, well worth several hours of wandering around. Do not miss the Mosquito Prototype hangar, somewhat concealed behind a Sea Venom.
