Roger writes:
First BrewDog in England. Pricey, as one would expect, but good beer well kept on draught and a decent range of bottles. Not enough seating when it gets crowded, and rumours suggest that the strong beers have a tendency to attract stunt drinkers, but certainly pleasant off-peak. When I went in on a Saturday afternoon, I was one of the few punters who wasn't wearing an ironic slogan t-shirt. If you can stomach the hipsters, and the constant noise off the acoustically bright walls (soft furnishings, people! It's not rocket surgery!) you can get a good selection of Brewdog beers, including their few sensible-strength ones (Dead Pony Club is usually available).
